We met up Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal at 8.30am.
Once we were there... We started to take pictures of ourselves and other people...

(Ben YY and Jia Sheng)We boarded the ferry at around 9.30am... And since Batam time is 1 hour behind our time, we all adjusted our watch 1 hour later... so whatever time that we mentioned when we were at Batam. it was in Batam time.
When we reached Nongsapura Ferry Terminal, we took a bus to Turi Beach Resort.

(On the bus)When we reached the resort.. we had a cup of ginger tea (prepared by the resort) and waited at the lobby for our keys to be distributed... Some of them got their keys first while others, like me, YY and cindy, had to wait for our keys. While waiting, we went to explore the resort... The whole resort was like on a hill..!! There was a lot of slops and stairs to climb in order to get from one level to another.

(During briefing)We got lost like around 2 to 3 times, and in the end, we ended up being led to our final check point by our instructor as it was getting very dark. It was the first time I tried walking in the dark in the forest. It's unforgettable... and I'm glad that I had my teammates with me throughout the journey, without them, I may had given up shortly after we got lost the first time.
We got back to the resort at around 6.45pm, and we met up with our instructor for dinner and debrief after we showered. After that, we had a workshop and preparation for Gala night. The whole day ended at around 1am.

After our breakfast, workshop and lunch, we went for our outdoor activity.. Today, we were playing Paintball War Game. IT WAS VERY VERY FUN!!!!!!! OK~ I didn't got shot, so I won't know the paint, but it was really really very fun!!!!!!
There was 2 rounds. First one was the team that snatches 2 flags wins. This time, my group (consist of me, Azhar, Cindy, Jia Sheng, Ernest, Vanessa, Kuang Qun, Zhao Zuo, Wen Xun, Nicholas, Manyuk and Mervy) instate of being called as team C, we called ourselves Chow Chow. And team D (which is Edmund, Ben and Jennife's group) was known as team Dino. For the first round, we had 2 attempted to snatched the flag. First time was by Jia Sheng... He managed to get hold of the flags but was shot at the back while on his way back to base camp. Then, the second attempted was by me. I was kinda nervous when I went to take the flag. I was afraid that I might get shot. But Luckily I made my team proud =D.... I brought the 2 flags home safely..!!!
The second round was protecting the VIP. My group was the police force that protected the VIP, while Dino was the ones that will snatch him from us. They needed to get him back to their base alive. But someone from their group accidentally shot the VIP, and so, we won!!
During the second round, my group was quite pissed off with a guy from our team. He was at a position with me and Ernest, at the start of 2nd round. When Ernest got shot, he was still at that position. After I changed my position and ran out of "bullets"... HE'S STILL THERE... AT THAT POSITION!!!! And he hardly fired any shoots!!!!

When the game was over, Zhao Zuo's asthma attack took placed. We were all freaked out..! Then, being the only gal there, I went up to help. Guided her through breathing and encouraged her while waiting for her roommate to bring her medication to her. I was glad that there was 2 paramedics to help... If not, we might lost her then.
Normal human would know that if a person is having difficulty in breathing, the right thing to do is to space out and let her have air, this thing is even shown on TV. But that guy just won't listen!! Azhar told everyone to move back, but he kept coming closer and closer to her!!!! I appreciate that he wanna helped out, but coming close to a person having difficulty in breathing will only make things worse. OK.. I admit that during that time, I was quite lost. I didn't really know what to do to make her felt better. So I listened to th rest, let her lie down. Then that guy kept asking to to support her neck.. But no matter which part I supposed, He just kept saying that I was doing it wrongly. So I asked him to come and helped out, but he REFUSED TO MOVE HIS BUTT!!! Just then a paramedic came and helped out a little.
I'm not sure how long I was with her... But seeing her feeling much better made me felt relieved.
When we got back to the resort, I followed the guys to the pool. While they had their swim, I wondered off to the beach to enjoy the sea view and breeze... At first I was alone, but Jia Sheng said that the water was too cold, so he joined me instate.
We walked to the Island Bar, which was located somewhere like a jetty... and took some photos there. After going there, I don't think I would ever like Singapore's beaches again!!
We stayed there for a while before heading back to shower, dinner, workshop and preparation for Gala night.
This time, most of us ended our day at around 2am.. while the Gala night crew ended their day at 3am +++....

20th Dec
After our breakfast, Cindy, YY and I tabao-ed some food for the guys (namely Edmund, Ben, Alan and Jia Sheng) to eat, cause they turned in very late last night and most of them were sick. When we reached Ben, Alan, and Edmund's new room, we laughed at their view from the room. Cause it was much worse that before. Shortly after we reached, Jia Sheng came, and they had their breakfast in the room. We went back to our room to get some stuffs, while the guys were eating, and we headed for briefing straight after that.

(this is the view from their room)Today we were going to do rafting... We sketched out the design of our raft... did some measurements and consideration... then we headed to the beach to built our rafts. While building, that guy kept asking... "why like this..", "why cannot like that...", "why not...", "why not...", "why not...". It was irritating. At some point of time, how I wish I could stuff a whole pile of sand into his mouth to keep him shut.
When the raft was done, we placed it in the sea. One barrel somehow got loss.. and it was the one that he tired. When he got on the raft, and sat on one of the barrel, that barrel "popped" out and became loss... Then he attempted to go up it again, and he got jammed. He kept straggling like a tortoise got its upside down. He then went over to the other barrel and sat one it.. and "pop".. there goes the other barrel. Some of my teammates were so pissed off that the asked him to stop trying and just pushed the raft.
We were the last to go... but we were the first to get back and untied everything. Some of our men was injured and all of us had crude oil on our hands and legs.
When we were done with our showering, we went to had our lunch and we went to Island Bar to get some drinks before going to do preparation for our Gala Night.

(this are the drinks that we had)While working on the preparation, I overheard that guy telling my Minono teammate about the raft that we built. He said that our design was kinda weird and cause we didn't listen to him, that's why our raft failed. And he was laughing at the barrels for "popping" out. When I heard it... in my heart, i was think... HELLO~~~!!! THOSE BARRELS "POPPED" OUT BECAUSE OF YOU.. AND NOW YOU ARE SAYING THAT WE WERE THE ONES THAT CAUSED IT TO HAPPEN?!?!?!?!?! o.O I wondered what other stories had he told them.
Finally.. it's Gala night... We first had 3 skits presented by 3 different groups. Then we had a fashion walk by 3 groups. And it was TIME TO PARTY~~!!! We had nice music and lighting which made a good atmosphere for dancing... it's like we were clubbing. Most of us stopped dancing after 6 songs or so.. and Azhar was the only survivor that danced throughout the whole song.
By the time we got back to our rooms.. it was already 2am... and that somehow wrapped up the whole of the day..

We booked out at around 9am. While waiting for the bus to come, we started taking pictures again....

(Ben and Jennifer)After the visit, we went to Batam Center to shop. We went to A&W to have our lunch!!! it's been quite sometime since we all last had an A&W meal, cause there isn't anymore in Singapore.

After shopping for 2 hours or so, most of them bought a lot of stuffs, while I bought only a ring which cost 50,000.... not SGD, but Rp.
Most of us fell asleep on the ferry. By the time we were back, it was nearly 7pm. We then had one last dinner together until school starts. After dinner.. we all headed home.

This camp was FUN!!! I don't know about the others, but I enjoyed myself during the whole of this camp... I'd learn things and experiences that can never be taught to us in the classroom. I'm really glad that I went for it... Hope that those who went there enjoyed too!!! =D
